These items support social-emotional healing by offering a sense of safety, routine, and belonging during times of transition. By meeting children’s immediate emotional needs, Exodus World Services can more effectively focus on long-term family stability and resettlement support.
-2024- SHELTER INC. - Reynolds’ Provisions’ Bears, Blankets, and Books care packages help children at Shelter Inc. feel safe, comforted, and valued during times of housing instability and crisis. -2026- SHELTER INC - Reynolds' Provisions Delivers 20 Teen Trauma Care Packages to Shelter Youth & Family Services Reynolds' Provisions NFP Inc. was honored to donate **20 trauma care packages** to teenagers served by **Shelter Youth & Family Services**. These care packages were thoughtfully designed to provide comfort, encouragement, and a reminder that each young person is seen, valued, and supported during difficult times. Each package included a pair of cozy slippers, a face towel, a stuffed animal, a journal, and a pen featuring a caring message. Together, these items encourage self-care, provide an outlet for expressing thoughts and emotions, and offer a sense of comfort during times of uncertainty. While simple, these gifts communicate a powerful message: *You matter, and you are not alone.* Shelter Youth & Family Services provides critical support to children, teens, and families experiencing crisis, abuse, neglect, homelessness, and other traumatic circumstances. 2026 - WHEELING POLICE DEPARTMENT- Reynolds' Provisions NFP Inc. was honored to provide **10 Bears, Blessings & Books Care Packages** to assist children who experience traumatic situations while receiving support from local law enforcement. When police officers respond to emergencies involving children, they often encounter young people facing fear, uncertainty, and emotional distress. Each care package is thoughtfully designed to offer a sense of comfort and reassurance during these difficult moments. The packages include a cuddly stuffed bear, a comforting blanket, and an age-appropriate children's book—simple gifts that remind a child they are safe, valued, and cared for. At Reynolds' Provisions, we believe that even the smallest acts of kindness can help begin the healing process. Through partnerships with first responders and community agencies, our *Bears, Blessings & Books* program provides tangible expressions of compassion to children when they need them most.
